I greet reality and I am answered by the negative.
Such is the way of refusal.
I am.
Killing creativity and denying the forces of its existence.
"Do you follow me, or yourselves?", he asks, "Do you really have a choice?"
And they answer by following him.
Such is their way.
I will follow my own reality, my own creativity and will become my own reason for living.
I will not bow to him who carries the rod.
For he is a lie and I won't accept.
Who does he represent?
ReplyDeleteThere is a fallacy in becoming your own reason for living...happiness comes through our relationships with others. When we give love we receive it back and that makes us happy. Being your own reason for living denies you the pursuit of happiness. Reality must be dealt with (ie I have to read your fax right now), but it is how you choose to percieve it that affects your happiness (boring court document or act of service for my brother). I am so glad you started this, I like to think!
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, there is the other side were we have so lost our selves that all we can do is live for others. We have given so much that who we are is lost and and there is no happiness. Its finding a balance.... Being true to your self and loving your self allows you to truly love others and to build those realtionship that will support you.
