Shattering..

So there it was,
Like trying to catch a bowling ball in a glass bowl...
This moment I had craved.
But long thought gone...

Shattering..

You see,
I knew it would never come again.
And safe in that knowledge, I had gone about my way...
Wrong again I see.

Shattering..

Lost now is my sense of direction.
Gone is the bland safety that once I knew so well...
Moved, reshaped and pulled along.
How quickly the world can change...

Shattering..

In the distance I hear my Gods laughing,
knowing that once again they proved me wrong...
That all is liquid and destined to flow,
and that I must move as gravity and Love would have me...
